Sully Studio ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our mobile applications — PermitLogic AI and TotalCalc Pro — and our website (collectively, the "Services").

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

• Account information such as your name and email address when you create an account
• Project information including project descriptions, locations, and responses to questions (PermitLogic AI)
• Calculator inputs and saved results (TotalCalc Pro)
• Payment information processed securely through Apple's App Store, Google Play, or RevenueCat — we do not store your payment details
• Communications with Sully and Solve, our AI assistants, which are processed to generate responses

We also collect information automatically when you use our Services:

• Usage data such as features used and time spent in the app
• Device information such as device type, operating system, and app version
• Log data including IP address, access times, and pages viewed

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our Services
• Process your requests and generate AI responses through Sully and Solve
• Send you technical notices and support messages
• Monitor and analyze usage patterns to improve our Services
• Detect and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activity

Local Data Storage

TotalCalc Pro stores your saved calculations and Solve conversation history locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This data does not leave your device unless you explicitly share it. Clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app will permanently delete this locally stored information.

AI Processing

Our Services use Claude, an AI assistant developed by Anthropic, to power Sully (PermitLogic AI) and Solve (TotalCalc Pro). Your conversations with these assistants are sent to Anthropic's API for processing. Anthropic's privacy policy governs their use of this data. We do not use your conversation data to train AI models.

PermitLogic AI also uses Tavily's search API to retrieve local building code information. Location and project type information may be sent to Tavily to perform these searches.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only in the following circumstances:

• With service providers who assist us in operating our Services, including Anthropic (AI processing), Tavily (code search), Supabase (database), and RevenueCat (payments)
• If required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Sully Studio, our users, or others
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with appropriate notice to users

Advertising

TotalCalc Pro's free tier displays ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising in your device settings. Upgrading to TotalCalc Pro removes all ads.

Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our Services. You may delete your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at [email protected].

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete that information promptly.
